Abstract
:
The research aims to expose the role of the Fatimid minister Al-Afdal Bin Badr Al-Jamali in fighting the crusaders in Syria after he realized the reality of the crusaders in movement. He sent three expeditions against the crusaders. In his time, the first alliance between Sunni Damascus Suljuks and the Shia Fatimid in Egypt happened. This alliance ended by a conspiracy killing him in 515 H/ 1121 G
